Internet Marketing: Corey Rudl
I am thinking back to how I first came across Corey, known to many as the guru of Internet marketing. In fact, I heard about him on the grapevine from someone who had just completed The Insider Secrets to Marketing Your Business on the Internet home study course and was buzzing with it.
Something, midst that mass of information that we daily receive, told me that this was worth checking out. How is it that one piece of information, one offer, stands out from the rest ... immediately grabs our attention ... hooks our interest ...and leads to our custom?
These are the sort of questions that Corey has become particularly adept at understanding but that is not what makes him a guru!
So what is it that makes Corey special?
He is one of those rare individuals to has the skill to not only to 'do it and succeed' but also capture the essence of that success and learning in a form that can be passed on. That is a rare gift and even harder to apply. It is a gift that separates the gurus from the spin merchants.
Needless to say I have done the course and found it amazing. More important, I am putting his teachings into practice through setting up a new Internet business, Internet Business Builders
What did I find of greatest value?
My own specialism is virtual organisation. The biggest chestnut to crack is how to automate organisation whilst remaining personal. This involves a mix of understanding both the technology and the marketing and selling relationship.
Automating organisation that remains personal involves knowing how to create an interactive and user friendly process that can deliver excellent service, high conversion ratios and lifelong customers. Corey has got this off to a fine tee.
